Source: The Pasadena Citizen Houston-based developer Avera Companies announced Tuesday it plans to build a 143-acre industrial park in Pasadena.  The complex, dubbed Bayport Logistics Park, will feature Union Pacific rail service near Barbour's Cut and Bayport container terminals, allowing for development of rail-served logistics and distribution space, which has been a popular asset in recent years as distribution of consumer goods accelerates in Houston. Investment & Development Ventures, LLC (IDV) and a Fortune 500 energy client have signed a long term agreement for construction of a Build-to-Suit office building in Pasadena, TX. The site is located in Park 225, at 300 Beltway Green Blvd, and is the 8th project developed in the business park. The facility is designed as a 3-story, 82,800 square foot office building on ~5 acres and will be constructed of tilt wall, structural steel and insulated glass.
