Aqua-Tots Swim School will open a Pasadena location in August, NewQuest Properties announced. The 6,000-square-foot lease deal brings the 145,202-square-foot Fairmont Parkway retail center to full occupancy. The swim school will take over the space vacated by Regency Beauty Institute. Stonegate Construction Design Build and Remodel and Interplan are handling the project.
IDV had a Fortune 500 client with an aggressive facility delivery schedule. To meet the needs of our client we knew the City of Pasadena’s cooperation was paramount to the project’s success. We called the Pasadena EDC to assist in coordinating a pre-development conference with key City personnel and foster our project through the approval process. The EDC was very proactive and supportive in our efforts to change the street name from Emerald Field Dr. to Flowserve Way. I would say the Pasadena Economic Development department is professional, responsive, friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Two residential projects - a home development and a senior adult community - are coming to Pasadena, a city development official says.
The development of single-family homes is planned for more than 100 acres at the intersection of Red Bluff Road and Center Street, said Rick Guerrero, economic development manager with Pasadena Economic Development Corp.
The project will include 410 lots, Guerrero told a recent gathering of apartment managers at the Preserve at Baywood. He did not name the developer.
