PASADENA BREAKS JANUARY RECORD FOR SALES TAX REVENUE

The city of Pasadena's $3.15 million is sales tax revenue for January was the most the city has received during that month in a year.
Monthly sales tax figures from the Texas Comptroller's Office are released six months after the fact. The report detailing January's revenue was released March 10.
In December, Pasadena earned $4.51 million in sales tax revenue. While the January total was a decline of $3.16 million from the previous month, it was 6.1 percent greater than the $2.97 million generated for January 2022, setting a record for the city for that month.
