Crispy leaves, pumpkin spice and cozy nights — Pasadena is thrilled to welcome the start of the Fall Season on September 23. With a new season comes seasonal activities and festivities, and we’ve rounded up a list of just a few exciting local events happening this Fall in Pasadena, will we see you there? 

 

Berry Haunted House presented by the Strawberry Festival

Time: 7 to 11p

Date: October 13-29, 2023 (Fridays & Saturdays ONLY) 

Location: Pasadena Convention Center & Municipal Fairgrounds - 7902 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX 

Admission: Children 6-10 yrs: $5, Adults 10 & Up: $10

What it is: Did you know the Pasadena Strawberry Festival Organization has year-round events along with the signature Strawberry Festival in May? The Berry Haunted House is open Fridays and Saturdays only Oct.13-29 with vendors and games Oct. 28-29 and trick-or-treating on Oct. 29.

 

Monster Mash presented by the City of Pasadena

Location: PAL Gym - 2910 Southmore Ave, Pasadena, TX

Admission: 1 non-perishable food item

Ages 2-16 (Free for accompanying adults)

What it is: A Halloween themed event for children with a costume contest, trick-or-treating, and more. Admission is one perishable food item. Accompanying adults have free admission. Please bring your own treat bag. There will be early admission for children with special needs at 11:30a. 

 

Trunk or Treat presented by the Pasadena Police Department

Time: 6 to 8p

Date: Tuesday, October 31, 2023

Location: Pasadena City Hall Parking Garage - 1149 Ellsworth Dr, Pasadena, TX

Admission: Free

What it is: Bring the whole family to this event with the Pasadena Police Department and City of Pasadena Personnel. There will be emergency vehicles decorated and officers will pass out candy!

 

Taste of the Town presented by the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce

Time: 5 to 9p

Date: Thursday, November 2, 2023

Location: Pasadena Convention Center & Municipal Fairgrounds - 7902 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX 

Admission: Prices vary from $20-$50, Children 5 & under: Free

What it is: This signature event from the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is a signature event where you can experience samplings from some of your favorite local restaurants, along with a business & shopping expo featuring local businesses presented by the Pasadena Loves Local Program, a partnership between the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, the City of Pasadena and us, the Pasadena Economic Development Corporation. There is also a live auction and much more. 

 

Fall Festival presented by the Armand Bayou Nature Center

Time:10a to 4p

Date: November 11-12, 2023

Location: Armand Bayou Nature Center - 8500 Bay Area Blvd, Pasadena, TX 

Admission: Prices Vary from $5-$12

What it is: Armand Bayou Nature Center is one of the largest urban wilderness preserves in the United States. The two-day Annual Fall Festival will have live music, games, a vendor fair, wagon rides, food, beer and much more. 

 

McDonald’s Texas Invitational Basketball Tournament

Time: Various times

Date: November 16-18, 2023

Location: Various Pasadena & Deer Park ISD School Gyms

Admission: Prices Vary from $2-$20

Parking: Free

What it is: The McDonald’s Texas Invitational Basketball Tournament is one of the largest and most well-known in the state. Often, the road to the state championship begins here as some of the top teams and players in the state kick off their seasons. Proceeds from the event benefit both the Pasadena and Deer Park ISD Education Foundations.
