Fowler to headline Pasadena’s Fourth fest

Kevin Fowler is the headline act at the city of Pasadena’s Fourth of July festival.

The city of Pasadena's Fourth of July event will feature traditional games for kids, live music including a performance by Texas country star Kevin Fowler and, of course, a fireworks show.

Activities at the family friendly event will be at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds, 7902 Fairmont Parkway.

"People can start arriving at 4 p.m.," said Jed Aplaca, director of the Pasadena Parks and Recreation Department. "The vendors, games and tractor rides will begin at 5 p.m., and the music will begin at 6 p.m."

Vendors selling food, drinks and other items will be lined along the midway, Aplaca said.
