Pasadena ranks No. 5 among ‘under the radar’ cities

Pasadena has earned a distinction as one of America’s best “under the radar” suburbs for 2020, making it the only Texas community on the list.
In a recent ranking from Zillow and Yelp, Pasadena placed No. 5 among America’s top 10 suburbs, based on urban amenities and housing affordability, as first reported by Culture Map’s John Egan.
“Increased opportunities to work remotely are pushing more Americans to rethink how and where they want to live,” Zillow stated in the survey. “But even if there’s less of a need to live as close to urban job centers, traditional urban amenities — think restaurants, nightlife, museums and sports venues — remain a big draw and demand for city living remains high.”
