More than 100 grants of $1,000 apiece have been rewarded to small businesses in Pasadena through a COVID-relief program offered by the city’s economic development corporation, and a second phase of applications is being accepted.
The deadline to apply for the second phase of the Pasadena Cares Financial Assistance Grant is midnight Nov. 20, and the EDC hopes to expand its reach to small-business owners who may have missed out on the first round.
“We encourage all small-business owners to apply and for community members to share the information with those who may not be aware of the program,” said Suzette McDowell, the EDC’s marketing manager.
