Reaches Agreement with Army Corps on Maintenance Dredging
HOUSTON - The Port Commission of the Port of Houston Authority met Tuesday, April 26 for its regular monthly meeting. Port Chairman Ric Campo opened the meeting by announcing multiple outstanding achievements for the Houston Ship Channel and by Port Houston.
One of the most notable was a recent agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, permitting it to assume maintenance dredging for a soon-to-be improved segment of the nation's busiest ship channel.
