Interest Blossoms in New Pasadena Community Garden

Efforts to create a community garden in Pasadena have come to fruition.
The Vince Bayou Community Garden, 501 W. Harris, has officially opened and has proven a magnet for residents wanting to test their green thumbs..
“People are very interested in it and we had all of the beds fill up very quickly,” Pasadena parks director Jed Aplaca said. “We actually have a waiting list; so the potential is that we probably will add some more beds in the near future. We have the space for more, but it’s just a matter of time and money right now.”
