As the vibrant colors of spring begin to bloom, Pasadena, TX eagerly welcomes the season with an array of exciting events and activities. From family-friendly festivals to business events for budding professions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in our bustling city. Here are a few of the most anticipated spring events happening this season in Pasadena.
Generations Collide: Unraveling the Generational Differences in the Workplace
Presented by: Pasadena Loves Local, a collaborative program between the City of Pasadena, PEDC and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Community Health Network
What it is: What happens when Baby Boomers, Generation X’ers, Millennials and Generation Z’ers work in the same space? Too often it’s miscommunication and behavioral differences. We have developed a panel that will explore everyday workplace scenarios where dynamics in generational differences come to fruition. This panel will educate leaders on how to best harness generational power to achieve optimal success.

Solar Eclipse Viewing Party

What it is: Join the Pasadena Public Library and Parks and Recreation in witnessing this celestial event. Enjoy crafts, demonstrations, and music as the sky becomes dark and shadows sharpen.
When: 12-2p on Monday, April 8

Additional Information: A limited number of free eclipse glasses will be available. People of all ages are welcome.

“Discover Your Future” Job Fair

What it is: Looking for a job or life-changing career? Local companies, from retail to industrial, are hiring now and ready to help you make your next career decision. Bring copies of your resume and interact with employers.

Armand Bayou Nature Center’s 50th Earth Day Celebration

What it is: Join us in celebrating Earth Day by meeting some of the animals that call ABNC home and learn why every day is Earth Day at ABNC. Activities will include live animal demonstrations, seed ball making, dip netting, mini Bayou Safari Tours, and more!

Pasadena Strawberry Festival

What it is: The Pasadena Strawberry Festival is a four-day event held annually on the third weekend in May to celebrate a time when Pasadena, TX was known as the strawberry capital of the south. The festival has become one of the largest and most popular annual events in the Pasadena area drawing over 50,000 in attendance that offers a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor activities, attractions, and entertainment ranging from the “World’s Largest Strawberry Shortcake,” BBQ cookoff, musical entertainment, a carnival, shopping, and plenty of food. It provides a fun-filled weekend of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
