Virtual, online approaches keeping Pasadena chamber connected

In her sixth year as president of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, Cristina Womack has seen her team answer the call during difficult times, such as Hurricane Harvey flooding in 2017.
Now her organization has steeled itself to respond to an unprecedented threat — the novel coronavirus pandemic.
“I would say the main difference, being a resident and a business owner in the southeast of Texas, is that we’re used to dealing with events like hurricanes,” Womack said. “Because of this (pandemic), there’s no set timeline. That’s the biggest difference.
