Small Business Week wrapped up last week, but the events and opportunities available to local entrepreneurs are just getting started. The Pasadena Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) and other local organizations put together networking events, educational sessions, and other activities to support the small business community. This allows business owners to learn and grow from each other.
“Entrepreneurs solve countless problems throughout the day, and they often handle diverse tasks that require marketing, accounting, HR, and IT knowledge,” says Arturo Marquez, Director of Economic Development for the Pasadena EDC. “Our goal is to share resources that make day-to-day operations easier and help companies take steps to be stable and profitable.”
There are three exciting events coming up in June. See what’s happening in Pasadena, Texas, and make plans to attend these activities.
Apply AI to Your Business with Grow with Google

Studies show that 68% of business owners are already using AI, but there are opportunities to use it more strategically throughout the day. On Thursday, June 4, Maria Elena Duron will lead a Grow with Google seminar on how to make AI work for you. This event is free to attend, but caps attendance at 50, so register early to save your spot. The Grow With Google session runs from 10:30 to 11:30 am at BakerRipley, 720 Fairmont Parkway.
This Grow with Google event focuses on practical applications for AI, with real-life examples for small businesses. The goal is for attendees to start using AI in their businesses, with the right skills and understanding to implement it effectively, saving time and money. This is a hands-on seminar where you can ask questions and develop a deep understanding of available tools.
